There were a bunch of twists still in this third book in the series that literally made me stop reading and let my mind finish exploding. And speaking of the ending, the book came to an excellent end point, but didn't, it kept going and the last bit felt like it didn't belong in this book and should have been in the next one, since this would have avoided the cliffhanger I would have preferred this. The characters are so entertaining to read about and I love that they are so capable and don't make stupid decisions, yet they still find themselves in all manner of sticky situations. I am so impressed by how the book drew me right back into Kat's world, reminding me of what I needed to know from the first book, without over-burdening the delicious new story. The third installment in the Legacy series by McKenzie Hunter, Renegade Magic and the battle between Levy and well basically the world it seems. It's just fantastic. I felt it was one of those moments the author truly wrote what this character would feel. For that matter, neither are the Guardians after Kat loses her temper in front of their leader.
